Zydeco Hepcats

Formed in 2010 by a group of veteran Southeast Michigan players, the Zydeco Hepcats have become regional ambassadors of Zydeco, playing all over Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana at every type of venue from crawfish boils and clubs to outdoor concerts and second line parades. They’ve opened twice for Zydeco legend C.J. Chenier and His Red Hot Louisiana Band and appeared at dozens of Detroit and Ann Arbor area music festivals. The Zydeco Hepcats play real Louisiana style music with Motor City energy. Their song list mixes Zydeco favorites old and new along with some Hepcat originals.
