The split

If perceived in terms of age, then The Split is a baby genius when defined by creativity and musical talent. Blending rock, pop, and punk, The Split delivers songs with familiar power pop chord structures, complimenting leads and hook driven vocal melodies that stick with you throughout the day. Musical influences ranging from U2, The Killers, Tears For Fears, and The Tragically Hip are respectfully apparent in their songs.

In the year they have been a band, The Split has released an EP entitled Leave A Light On and performed at top venues and festivals in the Detroit area including: Detroit X Detroit, Detroit Winter Blast, the Metro Times Blowout, and Arts Beats and Eats Festival. They’ve released two radio singles: “Say Goodnight” and “Leave a Light On” both being put into rotation on 89X Detroit “The Homeboy Show”, Monroe County Radio, and Cave Radio.
