Bulletproof Snow

Four Livingston area teens are

attracting attention these days all

 around southern Michigan. Their

original music is as unique and hard

 hitting as the band’s name,

Bulletproof Snow.

The band is: Trey McLaughlin –

Lead Vocals/Guitar; Jake

Yacobelli- Guitar/Vocals; Matt

Coon – Bass; and Connor Cheney

– Drums. Off to a very quick start,

these 16-year-olds are already

leaving lasting impressions in

music circles near and far.

Bulletproof Snow is rocketing into

the Detroit music scene after only

 coming together in March 2012.

Playing more than 60 shows in less

than a year, the band just

completed their debut EP, recorded

 at Swordfish Studios (Brighton, MI)

and mastered by Kevin Sharpe at

Metro 37 Recording Studios

(Rochester Hills, MI).

Bulletproof Snow currently performs

 on a regular weekend schedule

around southern Michigan. In a

few short months, the band has built

 an extensive repertoire of both

covers and originals. Their list of

 accomplishments is building fast

and includes winning “Battle of the

 Bands” competitions, playing in

many established area venues, and

playing several large festivals.

Amazing fans with “larger than life”

 musicianship and profound

songwriting ability their successes

already exceed those of bands that

have been working in the business

for years, even decades. Trey’s

mature writing style produces

hard-hitting and energetic originals

that fans and the band can’t get

 enough of and Bulletproof Snow’s

 popularity is increasing at light

speed with each live performance.

The band’s followers even include

some nationally known musicians,

such as members of the legendary

rock band Skid Row.

In their spare time, the band has

also performed at many events in

support of those in need, including

Boys and Girls Club of America,

 Veterans of Foreign Wars, and

Project iAm (children’s autism).

They also find time to support other

local musicians and to mentor other

 child musicians.

Proud to hail from an area with such

a famed musical history, the band

aims to add their name to the long

list of nationally known talent that

has come before them. They are

determined to be the next big thing

 rising up from Metro Detroit/Flint.
