Trey Connor
Trey Connor is a 21-year-old pop/
rock songwriter and guitarist from a small town near Detroit/Flint MI. Performing since age 13, he
captivates audiences of all ages
with crystal clear vocals and artful guitar work.
At age 15, he formed and fronted the modern rock band Bulletproof Snow
and in the next few years, wrote and released two EP’s, Punished For My Innocence and Here We Come.
Rising quickly, the band prevailed in several competitions receiving
various awards, including the 2015 Detroit Music Awards People’s
Choice Award for Trey’s song “Here
We Come.”
Interested in a more mainstream
pop/rock sound, in the spring of
2015, Trey began searching for a producer to engage on his first solo project, and eventually discovered award-winning producer Tommee Profitt, in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
After graduating high school in 2015, Trey was eager to begin working with Profitt, when his plans were
suddenly changed by an invitation to attend Season 10 casting finals for
“The Voice”. However, Trey did not appear on the show as teams filled
up before he could perform his
“BLIND AUDITION” for celebrity
coaches.
Reconnecting with Profitt after his experience with “The Voice”, Trey
was finally able to record/release
his first solo project in late 2016.
The debut single “Hold On” (Nov.
2016) and related EP, While
Everything Is Now (Dec. 2016) were followed with the “Hold On Music Video” (Aug. 2017).
Proud to hail from an area with such
a famed musical history, Trey aims
to add his name to the long list of nationally known talent and is
hopeful to be one of the next big
things rising up from Motown.
