Orbis is a professional, 5-piece

variety band featuring a mix of

modern hits, pop, rock, dance music

and a side of funky soul. From clubs

to large festival stages, Orbis sets

the bar high for every performance.

 Audiences enjoy a playlist which

 includes music by artists such as

Bruno Mars, OneRepublic, Imagine

 Dragons, Maroon 5, The Killers,

Muse, Cake, The Police, and many

more. The band has played several

 signature events in southeast

Michigan, including Arts Beats &

Eats, SterlingFest, Stars & Stripes

and the Detroit Grand Prix on Belle

Isle, where the band shared the

stage with national recording artists

 Lifehouse.

 

While Orbis is known for dynamic,

 engaging and high-energy cover

shows, the other side of the band

 features a catalog of exciting

original material. Orbis began to

light up the Detroit Music Scene in

 2003 with new music the band

would eventually call “dark pop”. A

 modern sound, influenced by the

likes of classic rock legends such

as the Beatles and Led Zeppelin,

Orbis’ original music has been

featured on MTV shows
“8th & Ocean” and “Spring Break”.

The band has released two,

full-length albums with tracks that

blend melodic rock and pop hooks

with hints of old school funk, punk,

 classic and modern rock.

 

Orbis continues to be one of Metro

 Detroit’s hardest working cover

acts, playing electric sets of every

genre of music from 70’s rock to

80’s new wave …90’s alternative…

right up to the modern radio hits of

 today.
